Dr. Durgesh Agrawal is a University topper of MBA and Ph.D. He has over 32 years of teaching and industry experience. He has 35 research papers and 20 cases to his credit, and authored four books in the areas of logistics, distribution, supply chain and demand chain management. He has held positions like Chairman-PGP, Dean (academics) of IIM, Shillong, India. Dr. Durgesh Agrawal ’s research and teaching interests lies in cross functional integration and lateral thinking in the areas of business model architecture, strategic marketing and value chain management.

Dr Durgesh Agrawal has been a very active researcher with interest in the integration of multi- discipline within the gamut of management, especially Marketing, Supply Chain, Strategy and Information Technology. He has the credit of 35 research papers published in reputed international and national Journals and Chapters of the books. He has presented several research papers in many international conferences organised by premier B-Schools like IIMA, IIMB, MDI Gurgaon in India and SUNY Plattsburgh abroad. He has also developed and published 20 research-based Case Studies for Classroom discussions on contemporary issues and challenges faced by the Indian corporate world. He authored four books in the area of Logistics and Supply Chain Management published by MacMillan Publishers India Ltd. Delhi. His books titled “Text Book of Logistics & Supply Chain Management” 2003 and “Distribution & Logistics Management” 2007 revised edition in 2015 has been the first Indian book’s titles in the subject areas. “Supply Chain Management: Strategy, Cases and Best Practices” 2010 was his third title. Cengage Learning has published the revised edition in 2017. His fourth book “Demand Chain Management” 2010 has been first ever titled globally.
