Social Media and Marketing Executive

Job Type: Full

Time Job Location: Bengaluru

Job Brief:
We are looking for a Social Media and Marketing Executive who can plan and execute campaigns across all social media channels. He/she should be a good content writer and should be able to develop content for the website and newsletters.

IFIM Business School, Bengaluru (The Institute of Finance and International Management) founded in 1995 with its first batch of students graduating in 1997, finds its place among the Top 15 of the 500+ Business Schools that were started post 1990 in the private sector. We have grown very fast in the last decade and today IFIM Business School has come to acquire a unique ‘institutional equity ’ with all its incumbent attributes excellent curriculum and faculty inputs, infrastructure, international exposure, academia-industry interface and placements. In recent times, IFIM Business School has taken many bold, forward looking and progressive initiatives to include collaboration with leading academic, research and corporate bodies for conducting continuing education programmes, research, corporate training & consultancy and offering a Ph.D programme in management.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Assimilate content from all institutes operated by CDE and provide to the social media agency
  • Ensure that all events such as seminars, conferences, important guest visits, events like Kanyathon, Naman, Aura etc are given their due coverage on all social media assets
  • Be the custodian of the social media handles and develop social media posts
  • Develop press releases and coordinate with PR agency for media opportunities
  • Collate, edit and proofread content for various weekly and monthly newsletters for internal and external circulation.
  • Ensure that all social media posts are posted on @Work and IFIM alumni portal.
  • Write and optimise content for the website, blog and social media handles. Use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach
  • Maintain the Wikipedia page of the Institute.

Qualification:


  1. Degree in mass communication/journalism or a design degree
  2. Experience in editing tools like AI, CorelDRAW and Photoshop will be an added advantage.
  3. 2-3 years of experience in Social Media Marketing
  4. Good communication and IT skills

Digital Marketing Executive

Job Brief:
We are looking for an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to assist in the planning, execution and optimization of our online marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and technology.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the lead management system is linked to all our social assets, landing pages and website
  • Proven track record in managing SEO for an organization including On Page / Off Page activities, Website Optimization. Experience in all phases of Search Engine Optimization process, including in-depth site analysis, on-page optimization, link building promotion and fix accessibility issues. Manage the SEO strategy to ensure that the institution always figures at the top of the search results.
  • Manage SEM campaigns, monitor and report their performances
  • Plan and execute emailer/SMS/Messaging Campaigns, optimise and report their performances
  • Analyse the visitor metric on our website and social assets to optimise the same for maximum conversions
  • Ensure good practices in all the digital campaigns and protect our IP from SPAM listing.
  • Source, clean up and maintain the various databases loaded on our lead management system.
  • Coordinate for creatives etc with the Digital Marketing Agency and monitor the efficacy of the agencies’ performance
  • Keep a check on the budget spends on digital marketing
  • Ensure that the content across all microsites and website is synchronised and kept updated
  • Conduct events such as webinars, competitions, quizzes etc to keep the audience engaged
  • Ensure that the website and all social media assets are performing optimally
  • Monitor the use of the IFIM app and ensure that the same is rated well on the Google play store and Apple App store
  • Plan and execute paid campaigns on our social media channels
  • Manage all the contracts with partner websites and monitor the performance of all the campaigns with affiliates.

Qualification:


  1. MBA in Marketing
  2. 2-3 years’ experience in Digital Marketing
  3. Working knowledge of CRM tools and experience in lead nurturing activities will be an added advantage
  4. Good communication and IT skills

Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator to participate in our company’s advertising campaigns. Your main responsibilities include manage collateral inventory of the institution and coordinate with multiple vendors for delivery.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain records of all budget spends across Marketing
  • Maintain relationship with all vendors in terms of payments, contract renewals etc
  • Manage the inventory of all marketing collaterals
  • Coordinate with printing agencies for delivery of collaterals
  • Help in shipping the collaterals to various destinations
  • Monitor work assigned to various marketing agencies to ensure that the same is delivered in time
  • Create dashboard and MIS reports for Marketing as a whole

Qualification:


  1. Any Graduate
  2. Fresher or 1-2 year experience in client servicing, vendor management or event management
  3. Good communication skills.
