Swami (Swaminathan) Krishnan is with IFIM Business School, Bangalore as Chief Executive Officer (CEO)/ Director. His role at IFIM B-School is to lead initiatives in the area of graduate and post-graduate studies, institutional tie-ups, and corporate / industry interface and work towards achieving the vision of the institute. Swami brings with him over two decades of industry experience combined with a passion for academics.

Before joining IFIM Business School, Swami was with Sasken Communication Technologies Limited as the Senior Vice President managing the Global Business Operations. He was responsible for Central Marketing Group, Facility Management Systems, IT/IS, Operational Excellence. Swami was also the Chief Marketing Officer handling Communications and Branding.

Swami Krishnan has 24 years of experience in the Telecommunications/IT industry and has worked both in India and overseas on several key assignments. He has worked with equipment manufacturers, telecom software developers and telecommunication services providers.

Swami has been responsible for areas like Sales, Marketing, Intellectual Property Development, Litigation, Regulation, Operations, Quality, Strategy, Mergers and Acquisitions and Operations. He has been a frequent guest lecturer at several management institutes. He is a keen proponent of Corporate Social Responsibility.

Swami has Bachelors Degree in Electronics and Communication, a Diploma in Practicing Management from INSEAD (www.impm.org) and a MA (Management) from Lancaster University Management School. He is currently pursuing the Fellow Program in Management from XLRI, Jamshedpur.
