Professor– Management

Rajesh Kumar is a management professional with nearly two decades of industry and teaching experience. He has translated corporate vision and mission into outcome driven marketing. He has built compelling brand experience in services and productized services in technology domain across leveraging a mix of traditional and digital marketing realms.

Rajesh has worked in early stage startups, as well as large corporations. He has led the marketing function as the General Manager Marketing & Communications at Hinduja Tech Limited. At Milagrow Business & Knowledge Solutions, Rajesh lead an initiative to evangelize Free and Open Source Solutions for the benefits of MSMEs. Prior to Milagrow, Rajesh has worked for Satyam Computer Services Limited(Now Tech Mahindra) in technical in the Microsoft Solutions Group and later in operations functions in SAP SBU and Manufacturing & Automotive SBU, reporting to the group head. As an engineering graduate, Rajesh worked as Management Trainee(Tech) at SAIL, a Navaratna PSU.

Rajesh has built and sustained effective relationship with an ecosystem of industry chambers such as CII, Nasscom, Society of Automotive Engineers, Automation Alley, and management associations. He has enabled alliances with leading technology vendors. More recently, Rajesh has provided consulting on branding and digital marketing for startups under the brand name Ideacopter. He is doing his PhD from the Department of Management Studies, IIT Madras.
